Spring Changes: Mind & Body Workout Workshop

  • Bedminster Quaker Meeting House Wedmore Vale Bristol, England United Kingdom (map)

Early Bird Price £25, Full Price £30

This unique mind & body movement workshop embraces the energy of Spring and explores how to facilitate long-lasting change to find more emotional and physical freedom.

This workshop will combine movement practices with behavioural science, western Psychology and eastern Philosophy; in order to help you understand how to maximise motivation, move past blockages and manifest meaningful changes in your life.

Understanding that change needs to take place in both the mind and body, this workshop will blend a combination of strength training, somatic practices, visualisations and mindfulness, to allow you to have a meaningful and embodied learning experience.

Expect an opening discussion on the theory of change and practical ways to facilitate it including cultivating a healthy mindset that allows for maximum motivation and enjoyment. You will also have a chance to become clear on what changes you would like to see in your life through a guided meditation.

This will lead into Somatic practices for regulating the nervous system and exploration of ‘resourcing’ whilst aiming for a new goal as well as a movement practice focused on strength, balance and coordination. This workout is aimed at moving in a way that suits your body and mood on the day, influenced by Yoga, Pilates and body weight resistance training, with all levels welcome.

Finish with a guided visualisation for manifesting meaningful change that feels effortless and empowering. Plus, as we recognise that emotional resilience and long-lasting habit change is best found with the support of a community, this workshop ends with time to chat and have a cuppa and piece of cake!

Leave feeling  like you’ve shaken-off Winter and are ready to welcome in new beginnings this Spring.

Please bring your own mat, cushions and blankets to keep you warm and comfortable, as well as a pen to make some notes.

Takes place at Bedminster Quaker Meeting House, Bristol, BS3 5HX
